Social Justice is the view that everyone deserves equal economic, political, social rights and opportunities, irrespective of ethinic origin, gender, sexual orientation, religion, race and without prejudice.  A.M.E.R.I.C.A.N. MEN Social Justice Project, a division of Brotherhood, Incorporated geared toward advocacy for youth in New Orleans, Louisiana.

WE understand that being LGBTQ isn’t always easy and learning how to navigate through society’s complicated systems can be even more difficult when you feel alone and unsupported.  Not everyone knows where to go or whom to turn to for help.  That is why we are here to provide you with the tools needed to combat the social issues that plague the LGBTQ community.

We are passionate in supporting you throughout your journey towards equality.  We want to deter the stigma associated with stereotypes that you face daily.  Join us in learning more about the laws and policies that impact your roles in society and to stand up against mistreatment in the correctional system, healthcare system, on school campuses and across the nation.


To create a harmoniously radical movement of increased awareness to support LGBTQ members underserved, criminalized, disenfranchised and underrepresented in the New Orleans metropolitan area.

Its Cool to KNOW Your Rights

Using a collection of fun and exciting tools, A.M.E.R.I.C.A.N. Men will be hosting a series of workshops to educate you each month in knowing your rights. You will learn about the important laws that either help or hurt your free will ans an LGBTQ person and also the proper way to submit a community complaint if you have been harassed, bullied, or discriminated against. After participating in our fun group workshops you will get to participate in exciting opportunities such as hosting a radio talk show, produce an audio book, create commercials and videos, and other public service announcements!  Its a wonderful way to share your passionate voice and be recognized s a Community Inclusion Advocate (CIA.)  And its free!!
